In Aiwarthire there are 6 main elements. Earth, guardian of the earth itself and all that walks upon it. Water, the guardian of the deep dark sees, and the fresh streaming river. Fire, the guardian of the blazing heat of the sun. Air, guardian of the air we could not live without. Darkness, guardian of space, it consists of fragments of all the elements except light. Light, guardian of time, it also consists of fragments of each element except darkness.

Our story begins one cold night in the valley, the wintry ground crackles as a hunter’s paw breaks the hard earth. The wolf pauses, her breath like smoke in the cold air, then a howl pierces the night, a howl that tells the rest of her pack to come forth.  Two other wolves came out of the forest on to the freezing plain; one a grey old she-wolf and the other a black young alpha. They trotted softly forward to where they all could clearly smell the fresh scent of blood. As they came closer, they heard two other wolves, an alpha male and female, yet they were hidden by a bush so that they could not see them.
“Look.” The drappa whispered, nuzzling her two new born cubs, they were both as black as the night.
“Palla, they’re be-”
“so nice to see you again.” The alpha she-wolf called stepping out from the shadows of where she was hidden.
“Morgan!” growled Palla, her muzzle lowering to the ground to protect the cubs.

I could clearly see it all from where i was hidden, my two new brothers and both my parents murdered, by my own aunt who had been cast away from the pack for reasons i couldn’t understand.
“Find the others, kill them all, and leave no survivors.” My head rose in horror, my eyes could see Morgan’s pack leave in the opposite direction to me. The snow on the floor was drenched with blood which in the pale moonlight looked like oil that drained from my families dead bodies. I prowled away, hoping that they had not seen me. The ground under my feet darkened as the moon vanished behind a cloud. As i got to the bushes where Whitewind, our Beta was with Kar, his sister and my brother i tried to explain what i had seen.
“My pa- the alpha- your dau-” i tried to say
“i already know. Do not pity your loss when so many of our brethren have lost their lives to Morgan. You will grieve when this war is over.” The wise old she-wolf told me. She was my grandmother, and looked after all the pups in the pack; i myself was yet only a pup, who had seen so much of life and death.
“Sita, Kar, Karma, and Fell. You have to travel to the edge of the pack boundaries. Only there will they stop following you. You must keep watch for the Blackbloods, and, if at all possible, look for the Mitta clan. Some believe them to be extinct, other think that they are hiding from Morgan. They are in the high mountains to the west, i feel they can help. Now go, it won’t be long before they reach us. Do not return, for i assume if you do, there will be nothing left of the once all-powerful Inari clan.”  She said and i looked at her, her eyes were full of sorrow and pain, she knew that she was going to die here, still she went to help the pack and Kar, Fell, Karma and i ran for our lives to the edge of the pack boundarys.
this is my wolf story, and also what my Oc wolves are for
